Just because we’re a marketing firm doesn’t mean we’re hypnotized by search engines. A lot of marketing agencies out there will insist that you build websites that are easy for search engines to crawl and consume. While building a well structured site is important, we at Inbounderish prefer to build websites for people rather than search engines.

We focus on user experience when we’re designing sites. If a website is too complicated, the design is “too busy”, or it’s just plain boring, people won’t be interested in the site, and are likely to move on to another. Our goal is to capture visitors attention, and give them an easy path to find whatever it is they are looking for.

You’d be hard pressed to find an adult these days that doesn’t have an internet capable phone or tablet (or both for that matter). We’re in the age of mobile devices, and websites need to adapt to accommodate different screen sizes.

A lot of design and development agencies will build separate sites for desktop and mobile devices. We think this is an unnecessary step that could just confuse users and search engines, and possibly create twice the amount of work to update. By utilizing responsive design, we’re able to keep everything in one place, and all web requests are served the same content.
